This Privacy Policy explains what information SafeMom’s connector for Claude (“the Service”) collects, why, and how you can control it.
1. What we store

2. What we do not store
- Photos. Barcode and label photos are processed to extract text and are not retained by our servers on the primary path.
- Health details. We never ask about, collect, or store anything about your individual pregnancy — gestational age, conditions, medications, or symptoms.
- Free-text conversation content beyond what’s needed to serve a single request.
3. Retention
Barcodes and verdicts are retained to power your scan history and to improve product coverage; they are not considered personally sensitive on their own. If we ever add a feature that receives images directly, any such images would be deleted within 24 hours, with no exceptions. Free text you type is not logged beyond what a single request requires.
4. Who we share data with (processors)

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared with these processors only as needed to operate the Service, under their respective privacy and security terms.
5. Deletion requests
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@safemom.ai. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days, and to make this self-serve from your account settings where possible.
6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@safemom.ai. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
